A few items of interest
One thing I really like about Canberra is that (unlike most of Australia) we have four different seasons each year. Australia has (mostly) a sub-tropical climate, which often means that you have a choice between "hot and sticky (or wet)", "hot and dry", "coldish", or "coldish and wet". But as we are roughly 2,000ft (800 or so meters) above sea level, we get lots of sunshine and four seasons.
